Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to support its legal and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration within the company
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to minimize legal and business risks
• Provide guidance on contract interpretation and maintain relationships with internal clients

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice in one or more US states, preferably Florida, Louisiana, or Texas
• 8 to 10 years of legal experience, ideally in commercial or contract law
• Preferred undergraduate degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science
• Experience in engineering, environmental consulting, or construction fields is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
