Job Summary
To support corporate legal functions, the full-time salaried Florida Licensed Corporate Counsel will manage contract lifecycle processes, oversee due diligence for acquisitions, and coordinate with external counsel in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements
- Perform and coordinate due diligence for acquisitions and prepare legal documents
- Manage the company's patent and trademark portfolio and assist with corporate governance matters
Required qualifications
- JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and Member of the FL Bar or authorized in-house counsel by the FL Bar
- 3+ years of experience in corporate legal practice, with both law firm and in-house experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
