Job Summary
Detail-oriented and flexible, the part-time Florida Licensed Cost Accountant/Bookkeeper will manage accounting operations for a growing business, including bookkeeping, cost accounting functions, and U.S. tax compliance for international activities, with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end close activities and assist with cost accounting processes, including job/project costing and inventory tracking
- Track transactions involving foreign entities and assist with tax-related reporting for international matters, including relevant documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, with a preference for cost accounting experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and reporting best practices
- Experience with foreign entity accounting and international tax implications is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Form 1120-F, Form 8833, and related international reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and strong Excel skills
