Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Florida Licensed Desk Adjuster will manage the entire claims process, including verifying loss information, analyzing coverage, and communicating with insureds, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Verify facts of loss and analyze coverage to make recommendations and issue payments
- Document all claim actions and maintain communication with insureds throughout the claims process
- Coordinate investigations and negotiate settlements to resolve disputed claims effectively
Required qualifications
- Maintain a Florida 520 License and obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or equivalent education and training
- Proficient in Xactimate software
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Effective interpersonal skills to develop relationships with various stakeholders
