Job Summary
To lead engineering initiatives for a fully remote position, the Florida Licensed Director of Engineering will manage the execution of engineering activities, oversee fiber network design, and ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee engineering management activities to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery of projects
- Design fiber outside plant networks and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to secure necessary permits
- Develop resource plans and manage subcontractor activities in accordance with project specifications
Required qualifications
- BS degree in a relevant engineering or technology field
- 10 or more years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Strong project management experience with a focus on fiber engineering
- Advanced knowledge of FTTH networks and fiber optic design
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA rules and federal/state regulations
