Florida Licensed Distribution Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Engineer to manage electrical distribution projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer distribution electrical projects from feasibility through construction
• Lead or support overhead and underground distribution engineering projects, defining scopes and performing engineering calculations
• Develop technical specifications, tender documents, and project calculations while providing construction support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university
• 5+ years of experience in overhead and underground electric distribution network design
• Knowledge of NESC/IEEE Standards and major utility engineering standards
• Proficiency in electrical design and understanding of smart infrastructure equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
