Florida Licensed EAP Counselor

Job Summary

Providing telephonic and video counseling, the full-time Florida Licensed EAP Counselor will engage with clients to offer emotional support and crisis management while maintaining confidentiality in a remote or hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide single session telephonic and video counseling, including crisis management and in-the-moment support
• Assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counseling and manage high-risk calls
• Develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology
• Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact experience in counseling or mental health services
• Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counseling modalities such as CBT and Solution-Focused therapy
• Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
• Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and mental health concerns
