Job Summary

Leading facility management operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Facilities Director will oversee maintenance and engineering services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while managing vendor relationships and driving operational performance in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and directs all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, ensuring compliance with established standards
• Delivers operational performance by monitoring operations and implementing action plans to maintain a proactive facility maintenance program
• Manages performance for Facility and Maintenance Supervisors, focusing on employee development and compliance with HR policies

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of healthcare maintenance management experience
• Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Licenses for heating, piping, and cooling work (such as S-1 or S2) preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience with profit and loss (P&L) management
