Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote FHA Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications for compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property appraisals to determine eligibility
• Collaborate with processors and loan officers to resolve questions and expedite the underwriting process

Qualifications

• Active DE is required; VA is a plus
• Must have underwritten frontline new purchase loans within the past 3 years
• Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
• Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and Jumbo products
• Experience with Encompass strongly preferred
