Florida Licensed Flood Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To support the Flood program, the full-time remote Florida Licensed Flood Claims Examiner will review flood claims, provide feedback to field adjusters, and ensure compliance with Standard Flood Insurance Policy guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming residential and commercial property estimates for accuracy and compliance with carrier-specific guidelines
• Provide feedback and collaborate with independent adjusters to correct estimates as necessary
• Support workload surges and catastrophe operations, including significant overtime during designated events

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• All Lines Insurance Adjuster's license
• Prior experience reviewing NFIP SFIP Dwelling, General Property, and RCBAP Claims
• 8+ years of residential or commercial property claims experience or 4+ years of flood experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
