Job Summary

To support the investigation of financial fraud, the full-time Florida Licensed Fraud Investigator will conduct thorough investigations, prepare case summaries, and collaborate with law enforcement while working remotely from Florida.

Key responsibilities
  • Investigate various types of fraud, including check fraud, identity theft, and suspicious transactions
  • Obtain and review evidence, preparing investigative reports and case referrals for prosecution
  • Assist members with fraud allegations and collaborate with credit union staff on fraud-related inquiries
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in fraud investigations or risk management within a financial institution
  • Basic understanding of legal and court processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
