Florida Licensed GL Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising a team of accountants, the full-time Florida Licensed GL Supervisor will ensure the accurate preparation and review of monthly financial statements for condominium and homeowners associations while maintaining compliance with accounting principles and meeting contractual deadlines in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily functions of the accounting team, ensuring adherence to processes and quality standards in financial statement preparation
• Communicate with team members and leadership to prioritize tasks, track performance, and resolve outstanding financial statement issues
• Provide ongoing training and conduct performance evaluations for team members, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five years of general ledger accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred
• Prior experience in property management, real estate, or residential management is required
• CAM license and CPA certification are a plus
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
