Job Summary
Leading a team in a full-time remote capacity, the Florida Licensed Government Contracts Director will manage government contracts activities, ensuring compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs while overseeing team development and contract administration.
Key responsibilities
- Directs management of regulatory and contractual requirements for government programs, ensuring compliance with all health plan standards
- Oversees the implementation of new contractual and regulatory standards while managing contract renewal activities
- Hires, trains, and mentors a team of government contracts professionals, driving accountability for team goals and deliverables
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Marketplace health insurance/government programs, with at least 5 years in government health programs
- At least 3 years of management or leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and government program compliance
- Proficient in data compilation, report creation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment
