Job Summary

A company is looking for a Florida-Based Helpline Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide crisis/suicide intervention services and conduct basic needs/safety assessments
• Offer information, community service referrals, and supportive listening via phone or virtual chat
• Participate in initial training and ongoing development to enhance crisis counseling skills

Required Qualifications

• Must be a Florida resident
• Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited university
• Four years of combined education and relevant work experience, or specific degree and experience in crisis intervention
• Ability to pass a level two DCF background screening and a drug test
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
