Job Summary

Seeking compassionate and motivated Florida Licensed Helpline Counselors for part-time remote positions, responsible for providing crisis intervention, safety assessments, and community service referrals during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Perform crisis and suicide intervention services while offering supportive listening to callers
• Conduct basic needs and safety assessments to determine appropriate resources for clients
• Provide information and referrals to community services based on callers' needs

Required qualifications

• Must be a Florida resident with a secure and confidential workspace
• Minimum of an associate's degree or higher in a relevant field, with corresponding experience in crisis intervention
• Ability to pass a level two DCF background screening and drug test
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM and comfort with phone and virtual chat-based work
• Availability for 16-29 daytime hours per week with a consistent schedule
