To provide compassionate end-of-life care, the full-time Florida Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will conduct in-home euthanasia and hospice services for pet families across Jacksonville, focusing on meaningful interactions without the constraints of corporate practices.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while ensuring compassionate communication with pet families
- Work independently in a mobile environment, providing care across various locations
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license for mobile practice
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion and professionalism in communications with team and families
