Job Summary

Florida Licensed Hospital Coding Liaison is a fully remote position responsible for ensuring accurate coding through chart reviews, problem resolution, and coding education, requiring extensive knowledge in coding guidelines and a commitment to compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts focused reviews of medical records for accurate coding and billing compliance
• Maintains high coding quality standards and provides feedback on coding issues
• Develops and presents educational materials to support accurate and compliant coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or completion of a coding certificate program
• National certification such as CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or COC
• Thorough knowledge of official coding guidelines and medical terminology
• Seven years of relevant hospital coding experience, with specific requirements for Radiation Oncology Liaison
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and coding systems
