Job Summary
To support the Hospitalist/Inpatient Services team in Naples, FL, a part-time remote Florida Licensed Hospitalist APRN/PA will manage patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with supervising physicians to provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and manage overall well-being through diagnosis and treatment of various conditions
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and x-rays
- Consult with supervising physicians on complex cases and collaborate on treatment decisions
Required qualifications
- Valid Florida APRN or PA License and Board Certification
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Experience in managing patient care in a hospital or inpatient setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
