Florida Licensed Indirect Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the growth of indirect lending operations, the full-time salaried Florida Licensed Indirect Underwriter will review and make decisions on loan applications, maintain relationships with automotive dealers, and ensure adherence to credit quality and profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess indirect loan applications from dealers using risk assessment and pricing strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive dealers to enhance sales and production
• Ensure compliance with lending policies and uphold ethical standards while achieving production targets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of indirect/underwriting lending experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• At least 8 years of credit and sales experience
• Minimum 5 years of knowledge regarding regulatory and compliance requirements
• Proven track record of successful relationship management for at least 3 years
