Job Summary
To support patient care initiatives, the full-time Florida Licensed Inpatient Care Nurse will perform initial and concurrent reviews of inpatient cases, collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans, and manage utilization review processes while working remotely from Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial and concurrent reviews of inpatient cases using evidence-based criteria
- Collaborate with facility healthcare professionals to discuss plans-of-care and manage delays in services
- Facilitate timely care and effective discharge planning while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in acute inpatient, skilled nursing facilities, or similar settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and clinical platforms
- Designated workspace with secure high-speed internet access
- Experience in acute, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings
