Job Summary

A company is looking for a Divisional Coder III Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign codes to hospital inpatient accounts using 3M Encoder and Dolbey Computer Assisted Coding programs
• Work with various teams to ensure coding accuracy and meet discharge timelines
• Assist in training team members on inpatient coding as necessary

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma and medical coding certificate program or 2-year HIM program
• One to three years of acute care inpatient hospital coding experience or completion of inpatient training
• Inpatient coding knowledge and familiarity with coding guidelines
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and coding software
• Licensure or certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CPC-P
