Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and track productivity levels

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• 2+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with Cerner and 3M 360 CAC
• Ability to maintain 95% coding accuracy and reach specified productivity levels
• Certification such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
