Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting process ensuring adherence to carrier guidelines and company policies
• Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority
• Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and brokerage carriers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Ability to manage the underwriting and brokerage process independently
• Strong knowledge of underwriting practices relevant to the accounts handled
