Job Summary
To achieve individual sales targets in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Florida Licensed Insurance Agent will engage in outbound phone calls and proactive sales activities to quote, sell, and process insurance applications while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales targets and meet agency production requirements through proactive sales activities
- Maintain a sufficient sales pipeline by working with referral sources and self-generated sales opportunities
- Issue profitable new business to maximize growth, compliance, and profitability standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience with a High School diploma/GED
- Active General Lines Property & Casualty Producer License for selling commercial insurance, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- 2+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in insurance sales or the mortgage/financial services industry
- Experience in outbound call center customer service
- Knowledge of business structures and state-specific insurance requirements
