Job Summary

To lead complex legal cases and manage teams, the full-time Florida Licensed Insurance Defense Partner will advise clients, represent them in court, and contribute to the firm's strategic direction while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on business transactions and legal rights, and independently manage cases from initiation to trial
• Conduct legal research, draft briefs, and represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Supervise associates and staff, while managing deadlines and ensuring an annual billable amount of 1950 hours

Required qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in general liability/insurance defense
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Florida (additional states a plus)
• Experience in negotiations and mediations
• Superior analytical and research skills
