Florida Licensed Linux Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a Florida Licensed Linux Administrator, the full-time hybrid position will manage and secure RHEL-based infrastructure, provide technical support, and lead automation initiatives while collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance public safety software.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for RHEL/CentOS Linux systems administration across enterprise environments
• Manage system infrastructure, including databases, firewalls, and storage systems, while providing technical support for hardware and software issues
• Lead automation efforts for deployments and configuration management on Linux systems using Ansible and Bash

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Current Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification on RHEL 8 or newer (preferred)
• At least 5 years of Linux administration experience, with 3+ years focused on RHEL/CentOS environments (preferred)
• Proficiency in RHEL 8/9 administration, Ansible, and Bash scripting
• Working knowledge of SQL, including administration of SQL Server or MySQL databases
