Job Summary

Providing timely and cost-efficient investigation of complex claims, the full-time Florida Licensed Major Case Adjuster will manage high-level bodily injury claims, develop litigation strategies, and attend mediations, with a hybrid work arrangement available at the Sarasota, FL office or remotely within FCCI territory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of the company's most complex claims, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Develop and implement litigation and file disposition strategies, attending mediations and settlement conferences
• Analyze coverage issues and jurisdictional diversity, providing expert guidance on insurance claims procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Ten years of progressively responsible complex claims adjusting experience
• Ten years of experience handling heavily litigated claims
• Applicable adjuster license
• Expert knowledge of insurance claims procedures and complex claim file management techniques
