Florida Licensed Major Case Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of the Major Case Unit, the full-time Florida Licensed Major Case Manager will manage complex commercial claims, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with state laws and company policies, with the option to work remotely or from one of the office locations in Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team workload planning and performance, driving process improvements
• Oversee claim operations, including reserve approvals and settlements, ensuring compliance with authority guidelines
• Direct litigation strategy and manage defense counsel for effective claim resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor preferred
• AIC, CCLA, SCLA designations, or equivalent coursework or experience
• Six years of complex claims adjusting experience, with an emphasis on high exposure bodily injury claims
• Two years in a leadership role within a Major Case Unit
• Current, active adjuster's license in the assigned jurisdiction
