Florida Licensed Math Tutor
Job Summary
To support students in grades K-8, the fully remote Florida Licensed Math Tutor will deliver pre-designed math lessons, maintain student engagement, and provide corrective feedback during virtual sessions, with a flexible schedule primarily between 4 PM and 7 PM ET.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging math tutoring sessions using provided lesson content and materials
- Maintain student behavior and engagement in a virtual classroom setting
- Guide students with supportive corrections and practice time to enhance their learning experience
Required qualifications
- Experience as a classroom teacher, tutor, or in a similar educational role, preferably with online instruction experience
- Ability to build rapport with students and create a motivating learning environment
- Access to a reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection (minimum 20 mbps)
- Must reside in and tutor from one of the eligible states, including Florida
- A college degree is preferred
