Job Summary

To support a growing claims team, the full-time Florida Licensed Medical Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and manage workers' compensation medical-only claims remotely, ensuring compliance with state regulations and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned workers' compensation claims by contacting injured workers, employers, and medical providers
• Evaluate claim details and medical information to determine compensability and set appropriate reserves
• Coordinate medical treatment and maintain regular contact with injured employees to support claim progression

Required Qualifications

• Experience handling workers' compensation claims, particularly medical-only claims
• Strong understanding of Florida workers' compensation statutes and medical terminology
• Ability to evaluate claim exposure, reserves, and benefit entitlement
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior experience with claim systems, medical bill review, and reserving tools
