Job Summary
To support a dynamic healthcare environment, the full-time Contract Worker Medical Assistant will assist physicians with medical procedures, perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing, and ensure quality control while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office
- Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, and quality control
- Troubleshoot and maintain medical instruments
Required qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician's office, with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license for travel to clinics
- High school diploma or GED required
- BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
