Florida Licensed Medical Claims Representative

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare team, the part-time Florida Licensed Medical Claims Representative will review and process medical claims, assist patients with inquiries, and communicate with providers and insurance companies, working remotely with flexible hours between 8am-9pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process medical claims submitted by healthcare providers
• Assist patients with medical-related inquiries through outbound and inbound calls
• Verify claim information and resolve discrepancies with providers and insurance companies

Required qualifications:

• 1+ year of verifiable recent experience in medical claims or healthcare insurance
• Proven experience in medical claims processing or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing practices (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
• Proficiency with medical billing software and MS Office Suite
• Great work attitude and willingness to help others
