Job Summary

Ensuring efficient collection of patient accounts in compliance with regulations, the full-time Florida Licensed Medical Collector will manage billing and collection activities, coordinate resolutions, and pursue reimbursements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate resolution of patient accounts and verify demographic and insurance information
• Monitor reimbursements and determine appropriate collection methods and follow-up procedures
• Prepare monthly reports for accounts receivable and respond to inquiries from patients and insurance carriers

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• General knowledge of office procedures and operations
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles
