Job Summary

A company is looking for a WC Medical Data Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Advises management on actuarial techniques and company policy regarding actuarial standards
• Develops machine learning approaches and performs exploratory data analysis
• Leads and mentors staff, managing departmental responsibilities and actuarial models

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably up to a credentialed actuary
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and intermediate skills in Python/R
• Experience with medical billing data (ICD-10, MS-ORG, CPT/HCPCS) preferred
• Specialized expertise in pricing, reserving, or predictive modeling
