Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates specimens for quality and preanalytical errors
• Verifies results and quality control data for accuracy and reliability
• Communicates critical results to the patient caregiver and assists in training new team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or an Associate's degree with two years of related experience
• Successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training internship
• Current Florida license as a Medical Technologist certified in required specialties
• Preferred national certification (ASCP, AAB, or AMT)
• Minimum of one year of experience in the field
