Job Summary
To support laboratory operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Medical Lab Scientist will evaluate specimens, verify results, and perform high complexity testing while working onsite in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluates specimens for quality and verifies results and quality control data for accuracy
- Performs and documents quality control, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members and assists in training new staff
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training internship
- Two years of relevant experience
- Current Florida license as a Medical Technologist in the required specialties
- Preferred national certification (ASCP, AAB, or AMT)
