Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain therapy units and radiation sources for accurate operation
• Oversee treatment planning for external beam and internally implanted radioactive sources
• Perform quality assurance checks and maintain records related to radiation safety and compliance

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics in Therapeutic Medical Physics
• License to practice Therapeutic Radiological Physics in Florida or ability to obtain one
• PhD, DMP, or Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related field
• Strong stereotactic experience is necessary
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
