Job Summary

A company is looking for a ROI Medical Records Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes release of information requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Performs quality checks and validates requests and authorizations for medical information release
• Provides excellent customer service and maintains confidentiality and security of patient information

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) required
• A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
• Strong computer software experience, with general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Must be able to type 50 wpm and use fax, copier, and scanning machines
• Self-motivated, team player with proven customer satisfaction skills
