Florida Licensed Medical Review Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Review Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and authorize phone/fax referral/authorization and clinical form requests
• Research requests not meeting established criteria and collaborate with other departments
• Maintain complete written documentation on all prior authorizations requests

Required Qualifications:

• Active, current, valid, unrestricted Florida State Registered Nurse (RN) / compact RN License that includes Florida
• At least two (2) years clinical experience
• Previous Medicare or Managed Care experience
• Experience working with multiple research/processing systems
• Experience working with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
