Florida Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary

As a member of a transdisciplinary team, the part-time Florida Licensed Mental Health Therapist will deliver remote outpatient therapy to individuals affected by chronic conditions and their family caregivers, focusing on emotional and psychological support while managing client records and maintaining licensure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform remote clinical counseling services to clients in accordance with company policies
• Maintain proper licensure and adhere to all applicable laws, rules, and codes of ethics
• Complete and maintain accurate written records for each patient, including treatment plans and progress notes

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling or social work
• Active, unrestricted license (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the State of Florida
• Experience with completing assessments and clinical case notes in compliance with healthcare plans
• Ideally, 2 years of experience understanding the needs of family caregivers and older adults
• Specialty or training in ACT and/or CBT is highly preferred
