Florida Licensed Mortgage Consultant

Job Summary

As a Florida Licensed Mortgage Consultant, the full-time remote position will manage mortgage loan applications, ensuring timely communication and decision-making while providing excellent member service in accordance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interview members to gather and record accurate information in mortgage origination systems
• Analyze documentation and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines while communicating loan decisions to members
• Maintain knowledge of current mortgage products and assist with regulatory compliance and member inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of mortgage lending experience with a financial institution
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance including TRID, HMDA, and ECOA
• Ability to analyze complex problems and manage competing priorities effectively
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective member interaction
