Job Summary

Generating mortgage loan opportunities, the hybrid remote Florida Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator will create and fulfill mortgage lending needs for members while building relationships within the real estate community and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate mortgage loan documents to ensure compliance with credit union and government standards
• Develop relationships with realtors and businesses to generate mortgage loan business and cross-sell credit union products
• Assemble and organize loan documentation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing of applications

Required qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field
• Two-year college degree or completion of specialized certification or training in mortgage lending
• In-depth knowledge of secondary market lending and residential real estate financing
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must pass registration based on the SAFE Act requirements or be already registered
