Job Summary

Generating mortgage loan opportunities, the hybrid remote Florida Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator will create and manage mortgage loans for members while building relationships within the real estate community and ensuring compliance with lending standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate mortgage loan documents to ensure compliance with credit union and government standards
• Develop business through realtor calls and member service, cross-selling credit union products and services
• Assemble and maintain accurate loan files and ensure timely processing of applications

Required qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in mortgage lending
• Two-year college degree or completion of specialized certification or training
• In-depth knowledge of the secondary mortgage market and residential real estate lending
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must pass registration based on SAFE Act requirements or be already registered
