Florida Licensed Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

Experienced Non-QM Mortgage Underwriters will find a remote opportunity focused on evaluating complex borrower profiles, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and delivering timely credit decisions while leveraging at least 10 years of mortgage underwriting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Non-QM products.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, and other documentation to assess borrower eligibility
• Apply expert knowledge of Non-QM loan programs and maintain compliance with regulations and company policies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriters while ensuring loan quality standards are met

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
• 5+ years of Non-QM underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of Non-QM products and complex income scenarios
• Familiarity with AUS systems (DU/LP) and manual underwriting
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
