Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends on a Per Diem basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide fully remote virtual serious illness care management to patients and families across various service lines
• Consult with medical staff and perform virtual assessments to ensure optimal patient care
• Document all interactions in the electronic medical records and support discharge planning as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute inpatient care
• Master's or Doctor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
• National certification, licensure, and prescriptive authority from the appropriate governing body
• Basic Life Support certificate and compact RN license in the home state by the date of hire
• Advanced Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (ACHPN) within 3 years of hire, if eligible
