Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing essential clinical care, the part-time contract Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication treatment, and deliver evidence-based care to children and adolescents in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and construct patient-centered treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while ensuring adherence to clinical best practice guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
• Unrestricted state license in Florida
• A minimum of 2 years in practice
• Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
• Experience or certification in treating minors is preferred
