Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing fully remote virtual serious illness care management, the part-time Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver care to patients and families across various settings, including hospice and palliative care, while managing clinical assessments and collaborating with medical staff during evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments and manage care plans for patients and families in need of serious illness care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and continuity across various service lines
• Document all patient interactions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute inpatient care
• National certification, licensure, and prescriptive authority in the home state and any additional states where care is provided
• Basic Life Support certification from an approved organization
• Compact RN license in the home state by the date of hire
