Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support veterans in the Tallahassee area, a Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work part-time on a contract basis, performing evaluation services by administering Disability Benefits Questionnaires and developing medical opinions related to military service.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for veterans
- Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews, and face-to-face evaluations
- Develop medical opinions on whether conditions are related to military service
Required qualifications
- Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in evaluating medical conditions and understanding of military service-related health issues
- Ability to conduct interviews and synthesize clinical evidence effectively
- Flexibility to work part-time with a schedule of half-days or full days
- Knowledge of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) is preferred
