Job Summary
Providing fully remote virtual serious illness care management, the part-time Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will support patients and families across various care settings, including hospice and palliative care, while working evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments of patient and caregiver needs, managing care plans and prescribing medications as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and continuity of services
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with regulatory standards in hospice and palliative care
Required qualifications
- Master's or Doctor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute inpatient care
- National certification, licensure, and prescriptive authority for advanced nursing practice in the home state and additional states as required
- Basic Life Support certification from an approved organization
- Compact RN license in the home state by the date of hire
