Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing fully remote virtual serious illness care management, the part-time Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will support patients and families across various care settings, including hospice and palliative care, while working evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments of patient and caregiver needs, managing care plans and prescribing medications as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and continuity of services
• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with regulatory standards in hospice and palliative care

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute inpatient care
• National certification, licensure, and prescriptive authority for advanced nursing practice in the home state and additional states as required
• Basic Life Support certification from an approved organization
• Compact RN license in the home state by the date of hire
