Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ombudsman (Medicaid / Florida Health Plan) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support member advocacy activities and resolve member grievances
• Investigate member issues and ensure their rights are upheld throughout their health care journey
• Document interactions and prepare reports to identify trends and improve member satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a managed care environment, preferably Medicaid
• Knowledge of state Medicaid policies and programs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in record-keeping and data management
• Understanding of health care systems, patient/member rights, and relevant laws and regulations
